18/11/15 The first step of this day was the discovery of the Veho USB Microscope, which might be used in order to register the dust inside the closed box. It can magify by 20x400x, and do snapshot and video records.

A problematic point would be the fact that the visible speed of the dust will be multipliated by the enhancement of the camera. The work should be done with a low anhancement.

First prototype

28/10/15 : The first prototype of light I tried is with four LED, first linked to an arduino, then with a battery and a converter. The LED need to be sourrounded by an opaque paper, so that the ray light get focused. The next step would be to build the dark space (using a lazer cutter maybe) and to incorporate an optic device to watch the dust.

The LED have a white color, and the resistor are of 100 ohms.

 At first the power supply was made by an arduino hardware (+5V).

Then a first test for the “black space” was made with the help of cardboard.

Then the electrical supply was insured by a battery connected to a semi transistor LM 7805 designed to adapt the tension of 9V to 5V.
